Spaced-interval adult learning - what is it?
Managers often say "training is a waste of money - I never see any results or changes", or "they're gone for three days, come back with a tan, and little else of value to my bottom line". Key people return to the workplace three days behind in paperwork, emails, and voicemails. The easiest method for us to catch up is to revert back to our standard ways of doing things, to what we know (i.e., our "old ways"), and the new skills and knowledge are rarely integrated into our daily routine. We get lost in the busyness of the day, week, and month.
Spaced-interval adult learning is different from the typical workshop or training you are accustomed to. We’re about retention and immediate application of new skills. Together we cover one major skill/topic in each session so participants can take the learning back to the workplace. Participants are away from their work for 1/2 to one day, returning fired up and ready to try out their new skills. Your return on investment is tremendous.
